This group covers the bars, diners, family restaurants, fast-food spots and other kitchens that serve pizza alongside a broader menu. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Sales tax is added at the register on top of menu prices.

Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, getaugies.com.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love to dine in and soak in the atmosphere, but to go is just as delicious. Parking can be tough, but the food and drinks are incredible and worth the trip. I go back and forth trying a different burger and chicken sandwich, so far I love them all

Ordered a Loganberry Float with Vegan Ice Cream, a Vegan Mothership and a Vegan Space Rodeo w/ Regular Fries. I at the Mothership first. Impossible patty was cooked very well, nice and tender. Very juicy. Toppings were good. The Space Sauce really did hit! It's a dope take on a classic burger for sure. Simple but worth it. Next I took on the Space Rodeo. Smokey flavored Vegan Bacon...that is something I am not used to seeing. The burger really has promise but I think it had too much BBQ Sauce on it. I would have liked to enjoy a little more smoke flavor and less BBQ sauce drench. All in all, good experience. The staff was super cool and helped me choose what I should eat. Food was good and the place was decently clean. Next time I'll try the vegan shake and some of the fun French Fry Options. :)

I really wanted to like this place, but it missed the mark. The mac and cheese wasn’t fresh, the fries were lukewarm, and the butter burger was dry. Nothing was terrible enough to send back, but nothing was memorable enough to make me come back either. For the cost, I expected a much higher quality meal.

I recently checked out Augie’s on Connecticut Street in Buffalo, and overall, it was a solid experience with a few standout moments. The place has a fun, casual vibe—definitely feels like the kind of spot you go to hang out with friends rather than just grab a quick bite. I tried the phone home and the chicken was juicy and tender just the way it’s supposed to be. The fries were a bit crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy inside. I thought they could’ve used a bit more salt but that’s just my taste. I absolutely loved the cinnamon crunch shake. Definitely something I would get next time. Cream soda float wasn’t bad either but I loved the cinnamon crunch shake more. Overall, Augies is a nice place to hangout with friends and chill, it’s a place where I wouldn’t go frequently or out of my way for but definitely worth a trip once!

We were traveling here from California during a New York snow storm. We decided to grab a bite along our way at Augie’s. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere. We were visiting on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was $5 sizzles hamburger Monday. Their menu had a plentiful selection and had adorable names to match. We ordered A few sizzles, the hot chicken, fries, strawberry milkshake, the game over and the poutine. All of us collectively agreed that all the food was phenomenal and we loved that they had gluten free option for our kids, of which my daughter said it was the best gluten free burger they have ever had. Destiny was the sweetest and came out and told us the poutine wasn’t up to her standards and that she was going to make them again for us and we appreciated that so much. Having such an amazing staff like Destiny and the other gentlemen working, really sets the bar high for us. The decor brought the whole restaurant together and it was such a precious moment when they hung our children’s art work up. If you are ever in Buffalo, Augie’s is a must! It’s well worth driving through a snow storm to eat here. We can’t wait
